In order to use Intelligent Interweaving on a Toucan LT or Falcon II printer, the firmware must be upgraded to the latest version. Please note that this upgrade does break compatibility with older cartridges and many bulk ink systems, particularly on the Falcon II Outdoor printers.
You will also need to use a RIP software version that supports the new features. This firmware has been supported in Wasatch since version 6.2. Check with your RIP manufacturer if you use a different RIP.
CAUTION: Firmware updates can cause serious damage to your machine if the power is interrupted at any point during the firmware loading process. Do not attempt to update your firmware unless your machine is plugged into an uninterruptable power supply.

To update the firmware, download the correct firmware for your unit and Mutoh Firmware Update Wizard. Run the Firmware Update Wizard and follow the instructions shown on-screen.
